Ok, I guess I'll get out there too. Never been to that area before, so that's exciting. See you guys bright and early.

WHat is the rig best used at this time of year? I think I plan on coming down in the morning if I can get out of the house by 3am.

Can't go wrong with 5-6 inch swimbaits on a 1-3 oz lead head (depending on depth/drift speed). Good colors are pearl white, rainbow trout or various baitfish patterns (sardine, bay smelt, sexy smelt, etc).

If you want to use bait, just rig up a 3-way rig with about a 3 feet leader to a squid, chovie, etc. Probably want about 2-6 oz on the 3-way (again depending on drift speed and depth).

Some of us will be out at SC trying for butts, RF, and whatever else is biting.   Meet by Aldo's launch @6, launch by 7 hopefully.

Will be on Ch69.

I plan on using a 3 way rig to a squid while I cast around with a big hammer for butts.

I'm just trying to make it off the water Early enough so i could try and attend Bear's and Kelly's baby shower. He wanted sooo, bad to come out  and fish this weekend! But would of lost all his WAF points for the rest of his live!

I Fished New Brighton today,  hooked a 25 inch ling first time on the water in a few months still was an epic time. Lost a few good ones!   

I will be there tomorrow at aldo's at 6.  New area to me.  Butts sound good!
