Why is the "Beach Closed/Shark Attack on Seal" article 90% about the beached whale?

Because 'shark attack' gets more attention.

Last sunday at HMB we saw a poor seal with part of it's butt gone dying on the green buoy.  He looked really bad and seemed spooked.  We heard later of a GWS circling one of the PB's southwest from where we were.

Glad I changed my mind last second of going to Stinson last Sunday for some surf fishing.  Might have caught a fish bigger than my 7 weight rod could handle.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

Quick update... The whale carcass at Stinson was burried in place, and no GWS' have been seen since.

This according to the fellow in the lifeguard tower.
