Well, Bear and I launched out of the West harbor at 06:00 this morning and headed to the mile buoy. It was fogy and couldn't really see where we were. Anyways, we ended west of the buoy and found the schools of Lizard fish and baby octopus that was clinging on to are bait while we were reeling up. We weren't getting to much action from any rock cod or the Halibut. Bear started to make bate. Jack smelt! I said cool. I put one on and sent it down and sure enough my rod tip starts to dip I take my time picking up my rod and there she was, my first halibut of the year! I played it like i didn't know what i was doing and got it in gaffing range and gaffed it right in the belly, not where i was aiming. I manage to  get the game clip on and ended his fight. Pined on another Jack smelt and got a 29" lingcod to go with the Halibut.  Out of the water by 13:30 and headed to the combat Zone and worked the line for 3hrs. for nada!. Lots of fish being hooked and landed but just not on my side of the wall. Seemed like the salmon would stack up on the left side of the culvert and the fisherman on that side would hook up. Here's a couple of Pics. Thanks for looking
