I am not gonna knock it. I eat some strange stuff but this I will not try again. You could fry it in Manteca and still wouldn't be appetizing for me. This vid says it all....

Andy bro.  You dumped the juice out, that's the best part and it helps it slide down.  A little salt on top, and suck that thing right out.  To describe it to those that wont go there, the embryo itself is sort of a savory, gelatinous, feathery gob.  There is still a yoke in there that is sort of a concentrated yolky flavor.  And there is still a white in there, but it is hard and rubbery and mostly flavorless.

So everyone knows.... My 12 year old daughter is all in on this~ She said she will eat it!!!! I told her I'd give her $5.00 if she did without barfing!!! So... how's that challenge now? Is someone bringing Balut?
