My son got all into Bruce a few months back and watched all the vids he could.  I started playing that ping-pong clip and he came running from his room to watch with me.  Even if it's fake, I love how that energy and the ideal represented there can inspire my boy and me too.

Take an ideal into your mind, contemplate how the attempt to achieve it can propel you forward from a place of want to a place of respect, and you can find balance between your self and the world around you.  Achieving it is not as important as having an ideal in the first place.

Bruce and his son are buried two blocks from where I grew up in Seattle. Once there was a pair of real nice 'sticks on his gravestone somebody left there. I picked them up and started swinging them around like an idiot. It hit me on the crazybone real hard, much pain. I quietly and softly set them down right where I found them.
