There are a number of 'Elite 4' models ... might need to be specific on which one as not to confuse possible buyers in their offer price.  I have one myself & love the little thing!

I think there's only one elite 4 model, unless they made it different on model years? Elite 4, elite 4x, elite 4 dsi, mark 4, mark 4x, mark 4 dsi.

True ... in a way.  The IS only one Elite 4 ... but as you pointed out, there is also the Elite 4x, Elite 4m, Elite 4 DSI, etc....  Often, I have found, that people just refer to it as an 'Elite 4' when they actually have an alternative Elite 4 version....

These are great fish finders.  Do take precaution though to ensure the little plastic piece which covers the SD slot is sealed - that's where the water seems to be getting in.  Even knowing that though / didn't stop me from buying another Mark 4 - great fish finders!  Good luck with the sale.
