Hi everybody new to the forum here and new to kayak fishing. Glad i found this site! Still looking for my first yak. Been fishing for years from shore and from a tube every once in awhile never thought about kayak fishing until recently looks awesome and cant wait to give it a try!

Welcome to the family Bear! I too am still very new to this sport and recently purchased my first yak. We have a great bunch here always open to help and give advice. I love the DIY forums too!

Yeah man, you are in a great place to make the very short drive to Big Break marina and test drive, test drive, test drive!! If I were you I would test drive about 20 kayaks before I buy one, there are so many features that you won't even think about until you try fishing with them! Welcome!!

Welcome aboard.  I fish Bethel Island.  Lots of no wake zone.  Relatively safer from PB. That's not too far away from you too.
