How does that Cuda handle for you out on the salt?

Big Jim, have your brother drink two quarts of water before even heading out on the water, not glasses but quarts, and a quart every hour after that.  That was our Iraq water "daily mission laod,"  and it has never failed me in hot weather, walking around with 40-50 pounds of battle rattle is a kin to wearing neoprene all day as far as water loss.  Yeah its a lot of water, butt for a large man it would get him through the heat exhaustion.  Warning once he stops sweating he is in danger of heat stroke, so keep the fluids handy, most of our medics and docs advise 3:1 or 4:1 ratio of water to gatorade.  Never just the G-Fluid the electrolytes get out of whack and cause there own problems.

LipRipper...next time you take your nephew out he is welcome to borrow my Cuda or T15 or BigYak.

I live right off the highway in Watsonville so easy to pick up yak and drop off.

Great video!  My Cuda 12 has been great on the local reservoirs and Delta but without a rudder and lacking the extra 2 feet of the regular Cuda I'm not sure how effective it would be on the ocean.

I've paddled much shorter boats in the ocean and still had plenty of fun...all depends on your level of comfort and the conditions...I imagine the Cuda 12 would handle the salt just fine.
