You might as well launch from OC. It's right next door to TC. Same fishing ground. If TC is overcrowded that's what I plan on doing. The Fort might also be a good option.

Yes you can
2-3 miles.OC to TC - with a bit of wind or current you could mooch all the way. I'd do it if I had some way to get back to my car

Thanks for the info guys.  I just might consider doing that.  My only concern is the wind, looks like I will be going against it on the way back if the current wind direction holds.

Last year at RTM Fall classic a few of us shuttled OC to TC. Very beautiful and productive coastline.

It's toooo damn hot in the valley so I will be heading Dow. Right after swim meet and camping at OC. I will look for other NCKA peeps when I get there.
