updat on Tyler Nelums, Randall Ray Nelums son

Randall, so great to hear your son improvement and the conviction.  The grill sounds like a dream job for a young man!   

Okay, where to begin? Just finished giving condolences too Paul for his son, what a terrible shame, and then came here to update on Tyler. The first thing I read is Joel's post about his and Marv's visit w/Ty in Rehab, the last time we saw Mooch. I am sorry I have been  away for so long (42 pages of unread topics) from a family of cohorts and accomplices that make up this site. The range of emotions that it(we) can generate is astounding. Now for the good stuff!
   Tyler is doing great, working at Heavenly on the Grill at the top of the Mt. He's boarding, has to to get to work and living with his Mom in South Lake. if you ski or board up there say howdy to him. One of Four of his Attackers was sentenced to 6 yrs in the state pin in Tracy and ordered to pay restitution on 1/23. the 3 other defendants are scheduled for trial on 2/23.
   You all showed such great love and support while me and mine worked through our trial I am truely sad I have been MIA here for so long.
 For all of you who are wondering who the hell i am (The site has gotten so large) it is me, Bigfoot "King of the Hobbits" 
 

Hobbits don't wear shoes.  Great news regarding Ty and the perps. Hoping for more good news in late February.

Nether do Bigfoot's HoJo! Thank you Martin, I was impressed with the El Dorado DA Tony Sears. 6 yrs out of a 7 yr max. I am hoping the Restitution means the $900000+ in med bills.

F!!  900 large = no joke.  There should have been a restitution order, was there not?  There's always the civil suit!  Slam dunk given criminal conviction.  maybe an empty judgment now, but you never know whether mother effers win lotto, catch a record setting homerun ball, or luck out some way.  Id go for it just to make sure effers spend rest of lives in debt to your boy. 

IDK whether a default judgment cd b obtained against incarcerated defendant w/o special showing.  But anyway, would getting served with a civil complaint while sitting in big house elicit consideration of irreversible self-help exit strategies???
