What's up NCKA?

I just wanted to recommend this iPhone app to anyone and everyone who has a smart phone and kayaks in the ocean. This app costs $10, and gets you quick and easy access to all the nautical charts you could ever need. The app also works as a chartplotter/gps using your phone's internal GPS.

I'm not gonna write about all the various features, but let's just say its a GREAT investment at $10...

Enjoy!

~Alex

Yes it will work with the galaxy 3. Not the 4 though. They are working on it.

Thank you Alex. I purchased it earlier per your recommendation. So far I'm liking what I'm seeing. It's even showing the mlpa area

Glad to help!

The guys on Coastside kept posting screen shots from the ap, and finally I asked them what it was all about. Figured you guys might be as stoked about it as I was.

I've been using it for a couple months plus. Great stuff. Does kill the battery though, so have to use it sparingly on a trip over 3 hours or so to conserve battery.

I've been using it for awhile & for work too.
It's very useful & can't believe I only paid less than $10!!!
I got mine for my old iPhone & was able to transfer using iTunes to my new one.  That was nice too!

Good extra tool to have but a pain to use on the water. Can't see the image very well and using with wet fingers even worse. Now I use it to plot reef coordinates into my gps.Maybe its just the type of phone I have but that's my two cents.
