Im no spring chicken when it comes to loading kayaks, but with my wheels, yakima cheater bar and some resourceful straps i can load my AI just fine by myself.

I've owned both.  I fished out of a sport for 4 years both fresh and salt and with no ff.  Best day ever was at Gerstle fishing blind.
I have caught both salmon and halibut in the sport.  However, the sport is a tub, but stable.

The revo is faster, and with a large rudder, it will turn quickly.  Sooner or later you will want to venture out into the salt, and the revo is your best bet.

However, one thing you might consider is a eddyline 12.  I have been taking mine out and love it.   It is light and tracks well.

I would rent first then buy, unless you have money out the wazooooooo.
