just before or after the high is good..u can catch halibut on any tide even slack but no current equals no drift..really big minus good be bad cause it usually muddies up the water and makes it hard for the fish to prey

Does anybody know if sausalito has live anchovy right now?

Hey Ricci, Im down for some fish n chill. What time will you be at loch lomond. Also, if there is no live anchovies, what would the back up plan be?  Havent fished for halibut since last year using some swinbaits out of capitola. Will that work?

Be aware that the launch there can be very slippy sometimes.
