Simple kayak trailer

I had this damaged trailer that no one really wanted so I said to hell with it. Bought some steel at Van Bebbers. A new coupler at Napa. Ripped out the shit expanded steel flooring. New plywood going in and some crossbars. A little paint and bingo, new camping/kayak trailer.

 $150.00 for the damaged trailer
$ 25.00 for the coupler 2" ball
$110.00 for the steel at Van Bebbers
 7 hours labor so far.
Use of the shop........................ priceless.

Nice work Craig,  Looks like a heavy duty trailer with welded steel.  Are you bringing it up to Albion?

Yes I am going to bring it up to Albion. Its gonna make the haul easier. Lots of stuff to get up there. Im gonna need it to bring back all the salmon too.

Awesome, I need an inexpensive kayak trailer for when I use my rv.  I have to tow my car right now to carry my kayak but would rather have a little trailer like that.
