I would be interested in knowing what NOAA site you are using Alex? Below is our usual go to site...

It's the point forecast. Start at weather.gov, and keep clicking in on the area of interest. This gives a more detailed forecast targetting small areas.

I'm listening in on the Coastside radio chatter this morning. Sounds like they're still catching them near the whistle buoy. :)

Hope this mornings NCKA crew's finding them!

Forecast has soured a little... They're calling a small craft advisory, but point forecast near the Head still has the wind pretty mild. I guess its that swell that's doing it.

Might be a little sloppy, but I'm still going. If it gets TOO bad, I'll move in near Doran or in the harbor and chase flatties.

That's very different from the NOAA point forecast. Guess there's only one way to find out!

There's a possibility I may be camping at Doran this weekend, do Saturday may be possible.

Yeah, the windfinder forecast does not match NOAA.

We'll see!

Alex, I put 60 fish in two days on my boat just outside the harbor last week. Not WFO, but a decent bite. I think the fish are hanging out there. Good luck.

Nice!!! Thanks for the heads up. Did you get any near the jingle bell buoy?

Seems like the fleet is mostly hanging near the whistle, but I wouldn't mind avoiding that crowd if I can find fish elsewhere.
