Hit the water at the fort 1-2 hrs before low-tide, it will bring us halfway to Pt Bonita, then ride the tide back, at least a few passes past the tower. Nice view also. Anyone game? Ben

Ive always thought of fishing the GG but the current and water keep me away. Good luck.

I would only go on a slight tide, good conditions. I think its worth a shot.

I've been considering that for a while.  Weekends are best for me, and I've been eyeing the days above.  Doesn't really work with your plan to ride the tide out and back, but not a lot of water movement.  Plus, morning should be less wind.  Did you have any other dates in mind?   I might be able to work an early morning during the week...

I'VE ALWAYS FANTASIZED FISHING THAT CRAZY POINT JUST INSIDE THE BAY  . THERE'S A HUGE DROP OFF AND BIG RIPS. I THINK IT'S CALLED YELLOW BLUFF. PEOPLE FISH OFF THE ROCKS THERE. ALSO, I KNOW A GUY THAT KNOWS HOW TO CATCH 400LB SEVEN GILL SHARK THERE. SALMON ARE PROBABLY SNEAKING BY THERE RIGHT NOW TOO, WITH ABOUT 999,999 MORE TO GO IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS. TIM

This weekend is also a possibility with a low early morning tide then a 5ft high around 2pm.  More movement on this one though...Not sure of my schedule but might be able to make it happen.
