Woot! I got the OK! Today I am off early, can probably get there near 5, maybe on the tail end? You are of course free to bring your mean greenie, but if you want to slum it (and save carrying two boats) I will bring my Prism and just trade you for 10-15min... Or if you want to try a soon-to-be-onsale WS Tarpon 160 lmk and I will bring that instead? :smt003

Thank you again!! Very kind of you! Man, so far everyone that I have met IRL from the boards has been so nice, and shared so much great info! Wiemarian was giving me a graduate course, felt like I should have been taking notes and buying that dude a beer!
Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

If he only drank beer. Tell you what, I will take his beer just so it does not go to waste.

Huge thanks to ohhhgeee for the test drive on his Jackson Cuda12, damn THAT is a nice boat, and it DID meet all the requirements of what I was looking for. That thing was a Rolls Royce compared to what I am used to <LOL> Now I am chomping at the bit to try the other three boats!! :smt003

Well I got a great set of test-drives on Saturday, got to try the ProAngler (too much for me I think?) and a Wilderness Systems Ride135..... juuuuust right...

All those things I was looking for, space, deck storage, drink holder, comfortable-as-hell seat, and not-overwhelming-size (for transport,) the Ride 135 has in spades.

I am definitely selling my ruddered Tarpon 160 now, and I am about 85% convinced that I need to buy a Ride. I really feel like I am a step up from last time, if I bought a Ride tomorrow I would be very happy with it, but I still want to follow through with my due diligence and test drive an Ocean Kayak, and someone suggested I test a Raptor as well, before I pull the trigger. Perhaps selling the Tarpon will give me a bit of time to get those last test drives! Woot!
