Joe, aka  skyboy moved east around 2006 or so.

marvmars  (Kim) was around in the beginning, but I thought had stopped posting around 2008-9. I just noticed she was selling a kayak just last year.

Who remembers Hana Pa'a ?  ;)

Good to see the molecular basser (Chris) back here. The fam and I  went up to Chico around March or so, and I was wondering what he'd been doing.

Sad to say, but once you kid up, priorities change, and certain attachments fade. NCKA happens to have taken the biggest hit for me. That's not to say that I've not been fishing or kayaking, in fact just last week the boys and I camped out for 3 days, fished, swam, kayaked. The nearly 7 year old is now fly fishing, catching, taking photo's and releasing fish. And it's been a little over 6 years since his first kayak ride. He also paddles his little brother all over the lake, in the Tarpon 160. And I was fishing again in the lake on Wednesday evening. But checking in here regularly just doesn't happen anymore.

Tony (Kneetoe) has been around. At Yakhopper's Clear Lake derby and at Albion last year.

Skyboy was just out here for a week or so.  Went fishing with me  in Santa Cruz we had a great time.

turns out he was the guy who bought "Old Blue" from Hana Pa.

(Old Blue was my first fishing kayak scupper pro.  Hana pa was Mooch's original name until we got to know him....."Hey you have any extra squid?  Hey do you have #1 hooks? Are you going to eat all that by yourself?"

And so he was named The Mooch!  With all affection and respect of course!!!

What happened to captainkayak? He was real cool too.

Hey Andy! Thanks for missing me man. I hope you are well. Just taking a break from the water that's all but I'm still here.  :smt006
I wouldn't go so far as to call a lingcod filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a lingcod's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Hey Yakkers.   :smt001

He used to use such phrases.  He talked of needing money to take care of his mom I think, and he kinda retired from the board - I think it was about 1.5 years ago right before GS6.
