Anyone here know what'd happened to Raul Bordon (forgot his handle) who used to live in Vallejo.  We kayak fished together at Fort Ross several times in the past.
He still lives in Vallejo but I don't think he was ever a member. He sold his early hobie sailing kayak I think. He is busy with girlfriend and care home business

you just saw him at shelter not more than 2 weeks ago!

I know. I miss his witty/intelligent posts. And I didn't get to hang long enough at GS.

We don't see enough of DaveW, but he does surface and has always been game for hooking up if contacted.

Another member from the Mendo area who was extremely enthusiastic and a pretty regular contributor for a while was Hobiesport.  I think he was one of us who was serious about getting to GS2 (March 2008), but then he vanished, not to be heard from again.

Jselli did show up here some months back, but he's got boys growing that he's very busy with - that was my impression.

I really enjoyed Sean's (sawfish)  reports. He was super cool.  I found this site after reading an awesome report he and a few others zilla. What's an awesome trip kayak fishing down Baja.  Looked back and the pics weren't available.

What happened to captainkayak? He was real cool too.

Northern Boy - Phil and his lady - moved back to England and raising a family. Funniest posts ever.

Molbasser - Chris - last I heard working for Sierra Nevada and living near Marysville I think

Brian G - I ran into him a couple of times last year. Doing well but not fishing much, AKA Lost Mojo. I think he is in Modesto.

Eye at Bay and Goutless Angler - two of the funniest asians I have ever met. Both working in China and living the dream.

Brendan - still in the Santa Cruz area and doing well. He was on the ghost hunt last year. Doesn't miss NCKA :smt005

Ramon - still in the San Leandro and working on residential solar. Chasing girls more than chasing fish.

JMairey - John is doing well and spends most of his time surfing and going to his sons soccer games.

Sandman - Gary is doing well but doesn't fish much since he took up dragon boat racing.

Stuart - I think his current handle is potato river. He is doing well. I fished salmon with him and Freddie last year and he was at Spike's Ocean Cove event last year.

never met him but what about the "jai boi" - was that his handle?

He and I did a 2 man trip outta bean a few years back. Best yard sale launching ever. I told him 5 times. As soon as your butt hits the seat paddle like a mad man until you clear the shore break...Well, when he launched he jumped in the seat and then proceeded to adjust it and get settled. I just yelled...."WHEN you get smashed stay on the ocean side of your boat!"...He didn't and I had to yank him out of the way as his boat flew by his ankle at mach 2. He looked at me like I was insane and I said "that's why we didn't launch at the same time." The funnies thing was his net that was wrapped completely around the boat. I just laughed and said. "are you glad I took your rods in my boat for the launch?"

Good kid miss him.....

I remember the day we saw the shark up there. Keo comes on the radio with something like "Shark? no way! I'm just a poor asian who aint got medical!"  :smt044 & he totally diffused the tension without even trying.

He gets my eternal thanks for that.
