Liberty island rd. From 113 take Binghampton. The road changes name a couple times but if you follow it you will end up at liberty island rd. Turn right and follow it to the bridge. Park on the side of the road and cross the bridge to launch. Best done not at low tide. I plan to explore a launch site a short walk on the road past the gate.

Thanks for the info, a question about parking, I haven't been in that particular area, but seems that most areas like that are posted to the hilt with "No parking anywhere" signs.  On the other hand looking from Google earth it looks like a well used area with the trails leading from the bridge.

Lots of signs. None on the water side of the road.

I launched into the water on Liberty Island and found it too shallow. If it had been a rising tide we probably could have made it across to Liberty Cut. I would like to explore more when the tide is right. It might work as a shortcut to or from Liberty Cut if the tide is up.
