Albion this weekend.

Saturday prolly gonna be a good day to get clams in the morning. And my son wants to fish off the beach in Albion.

You have a crab gauge my little cousin could borrow so he can be legal crabbin off the dock?

I got a crab ring and hopefully he can find some fishheads (or use some that I shoot) to ziptie to the bottom and that should keep him busy pulling up shorts and maybe a legal one or two.

 

Wife wants me to spend more time on land than water so may just dive saturday AM and then kick it around camp and beach and dock the rest of the time.

Sweet!!! Yeah man!! Rings are fine for the dock. If you have a pot or two we could paddle out and drop them and check them periodically?? I've never dropped pots there before but getting some nice crab for the camp would be awesome!! Last year the ones off the dock were mostly shorts...

Anyone know a good area to drop??

What sites are you in James? We are 7,8,9 at Schooners.

Thnaks buddy. I feel better now. I was all bummed and pissed this morning when the wife put the squash on my plans of diving all day every day up there...but she is right, if I am underwater I am not spending time with the family.

I'm in C12 and 13.
I also am not going to be able to dive and fish as much as I want but familly time is good too. Clamming is good outdoor activities for the whole familly so that a happy medium.
  Ill bring a bunch of crab gear and we can figure it all out up there.

Jim,  come by and pick up my canoe.  Then paddle the family up the river and back. 

Jim and James, when you guys planning on diving? Looks like I'll be able to make it up Saturday if anyone's diving for abs that day. Also have some crab rings and a promar hoop-trap thingy I can bring up and leave with you guys or drop off @ Jims Friday morning on my way to work.
