I took my Ride 115 home and was setting in it in the garage. I heard a cracking sound and discovered the bottom cushion plastic tray had stretched and cracked from bending forward. Looks like Wilderness failed a bit in the R&D dept. Doesn't seem to effect the performance any. Mine now has a seam where one should have been in the first place. a two piece bottom would allow the seat to pivot. I am 6'2 and 210 lbs. Its two months old now. I did not take it back. Having to much fun with it.

Was it a new one? They will repair... Send you parts. Give them a call. Good customer service... Racinrob might have a good # to call for faster service :smt006
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

Thanks. Yes it is new. Only 8 wks old. Maybe it was a bad batch of plastic. I did not do anything that would not happen during normal use. Thanks for the info.

if you bought from a dealer i'd go to them first.  they might be able to just do a straight replacement.

Again. Thanks. I bought it new at Scheels in Reno Nv. 7-8 weeks ago. I am in contact with Wilderness and I will post the outcome. The Ride is a neat boat by my way of thinking.

Can I see a picture of it to see where it cracked? Is it the high or the low seat?

I am thinking it is the high seat . It cracked when I leaned forward and it bent under.

Got a piece of .160 two belted flat rubber stock.  Free at Delta Rubber (nice man). Made a pattern. Cut holes and slots for the webbing straps. Cut the old plastic tray in half too save the adjustment cleats and pull strap mechanism . Laced it back up. Pics. I did not take it back for warranty because another one like it would be the same.
