Upgraded my fish finder. This hummingbird served me well. I used it with my Valco boat and with my Cuda 12. Great first fish finder for anyone who's on a budget. This model is the portable kind, comes with a portable case to use it in multiple boats/store easily. Asking $60

Hi,
Does it come with a mount, transducer, and cables?   If I wanted to use it on a small aluminum boat and my Yak, would I need 2 transducers.  If I just used one, how would it be mounted on my Yak?
I'm new to this all.
Thanks,
Alcim11

everything is included. As far as needing two transducers, i dont think that is necessary. this fishfinder can be mounted via the suction cup transducer mount that comes with it. what kind of kayak do you have?

HI,
I have a trident 13 angler, and I have a 12' aluminum drift boat that I also use with a 5hp motor.
Does the transducer go inside the kayak?  How about the aluminum boat?
I fished my yak for rockfish and abalone out of Noyo.  The abs were great.  The rockfishing was blind, though I did catch a few.

I've never tried mounting it inside the hull but that would work. I could throw in a piece if pool noodle. For the aluminum boat,  the suction cup mount will attach anywhere there is a flat surface. The transducer would not be permanently attached on either boat and it would be easy to switch between the two.
