One time I went to the Big K up by Soames Bar(where the fish are) with my old high school buddy Paul. We ate Canadian bacon and beans for 4 days. Plus a ton of beer. On the way home just past Hopland it was finally too much. I pulled over and ran for the bushes. I had an old Canon the kind with real film. When I got the pics developed I was looking at one and trying to figure out what the hell this one pic was. Until I saw my own ass sticking out of the bushes. Oh man, that Paul was a bastard for that but  35 years later I still laugh.

Ok, I remembered one! It was right there, at the junction of Barry, Cox, & Cascade glacier in Harriman Fjord. 'bout 1997


I got caught in a tidal whirlpool once, right at the point entering the Fjord from the Barry arm. Almost took a crap there in the yak that time.
