Last year I was fortunate enough to get hooked up on some plow discs from Bill to make my own discada woks.  They were around 20" and 22" and just deep and wide enough to fry a nice size RF without cutting it in half.
Here is the project:

The Discs from Bill with the holes in the center later to be plug and welded

The horseshoes for handles.  Grinded and sanblasted to get rust and junk off

Grinded to get rust off.  Used also flap disc for smoother finished.

Then sandblasted to get rust off the pittings.

Then had a buddy of mine weld the horseshoes and plug the hole shut with metal plugs and weld then grind welded part for smooth center

Clean then put on a burner for 1st coat of vegetable seasoning.
Now just waiting for RF season and GS7 to commence so I can have fish frying on this thing!
thanks again Bill!

The thin Discs get hot fast. I have sold many for this. One person from across our southern border says the Mexicans use the thin ones because fish cook fast. And they can cook fish with tumble weeds or other weeds that burn, No wood.

Allen ...

Those came out great!  Hard to believe those came from those old discs I had!  Can't wait to get mine & start some frying!  Guess I should hang onto the few discs I DO have left!
