Oh man. Looks like you guys had a blast. I still have that stainless steel virgin clam tube I want to break in. Dave still talks about how much fun he had last time out. OK Wes, me, you and Dave are hitting it up next time for sure!

Sorry for late follow up..
Excited that we wre able to squeeze in this trip with everything in alignment: Good  low tide during daylight, good wx and availability
For most of us..

Drove up with Fiver John and really enjoyed the company.
One lessened I learned from last time is to stick close to Sonny.. This guys is a pro.. He can literally sniff out the bigems... We found a nice sand bar with nice size valve holes...3 finger diameter...- yowwzaa..

Eating on the sandbar racing before the tide swept in is always a nice way to wrap things up..plus it make for an easier transport back to base with the water covering up the mud and allowing our kayaks flotation.

The potluck is always a winner.. Great company enjoying the bounty from the sea..man I love living in NorCal.

Here's to us and those like us....

Wow, that was a fun clamming event. Nice to hang with Sonny again, Us North Bay guys sure miss him up here. In fact all the guys and gals I fish and chill with are top notch. I (we) owe a debt of gratitude to Mooch, Papa Bill and all the organizers of NCKA. Their wisdom, dedication and forsite in forming this club greatly enriched our lives. Kudos to Allen and the moderators for keeping the show on the road. We love you for what you do. Another big 'shout out' goes to the event organizers, your work melds it all together. Icing on the cake are the generous sponsors you've welcomed into the loop.

Really glad I could shuffle some of my work around to make this one.  Thanks for the ride Dave, good company always makes the journey quicker. As expected, good friends, good food, and good times at this LS trip.  Looking forward to more of the same at GS7!  :smt006
