SAN PABLO RESERVOIR FISH REPORT
April 29, 2013
The San Pablo Reservoir Recreation Area is open with the hours being 6:30 am to 7:00 pm and boats being off the water by 6:00 pm. The Boat Launch area is open 7 days a week with snacks and drinks available. Our last plant of Mt. Lassen Trout was on Tuesday April 23, 2013 with 1,080 lbs. of catchable Trout and 120 lbs. of trophy Trout and the Department of Fish and Game planted 2,000 lbs. on Thursday April 25, 2013. The water temp has been around 64 degrees. The Trout bite has been good and were being caught from the shoreline near the Main Recreation Area the Pines and across the other side at Sandy Point, Graveyard Cove in Scow Canyon, and also from the shoreline at the Boat Launch area aswell . PowerBait for the Trout such as Rainbow, Chartreuse and Spring Green have been working as well as the Mice Tails and Nightcrawlers inflated, the Broken-Back Fire-Tiger, Panther Martins, and Clowns  seem to be working for those that are trolling. Bass have picked up with people using Drop-shots, and Top Water lures as well as Chatter Baits, Catfish have started biting on Night Crawlers, Anchovies and Shrimp out at the Boat Launch Shoreline Area.
TROUT
Dan Mendoza of Newark caught this 4.5lb. Trout using PowerBait at the Rock Wall on 4-24-13
Juan Arroyo of San Pablo caught 5 Trout using PowerBait while fishing  the Pines on 4-24-13
Brian Shaw & Partner caught a Catfish 5 Trout  & a Carp while fishing various spots on 4-24-13
CATFISH
Jordan & Shelby of Pittsburgh caught 8 Catfish & 2 Trout using Nightcrawlers at the Boat Launch area on 4-21-13
CRAPPIE
Cuong L. of Concord caught this Huge 2.5lb. Crappie using a Jig at the Boat Launch area on 4-22-13
