For a few years many us would converge on Mendo in the spring and fall it felt like home so many good times I'll never forget the weekend Joel fell in love it was like HS. 

Mike,  I do remember all the fun times with Joel at Lake Mendo.  Here's a shot I believe from the north side, early in the NCKA days.
