I had the pleasure of meeting your Dad at the sturgeon tourney. I hope I'm lucky enough to camp next to you again this year.

Maybe we can find a "task" for him to help out with...he is real handy to have around and loves to chip in.

If the ocean is calm he will probably give rock picking a go. He has always done well at it and seems to find holes to stick his hands in that no one has ever checked before. One time while picking near him he reached under the rock I was on then locked onto my hand from the other side and scared the heck out of me....he is funny that way...beware is all I can say.

Thanks for sharing Allen.  It was cool meeting your dad on the water and hearing some stories at camp from you and Patrick.  I can't wait til GS7 so we can chase some salmon together.   

Two Leepens have always filled me with so much joy, I'm afraid to know what a third would do!  Great story and pics uncle Allen!

It's been great having Grandpa back on the water, just like old times.  I have also been lucky enough to work alongside him on some projects with my Uncle this year.  Three generations on the jobsite is almost as fun  as on the water, his stories can put a serious hurt in your side.  Not to mention he always has an extra sandwich to share!

How do you guys get any work done with all the stories???  Looking forward to meeting Dad/Grandpa at GS7

you dad looks like a "natural".......if he's anything close to you & theboy, which he looks like he is,,,,can i refer to him as "Pops", when I meet him?
