This is a pretty light topic....but what are your favorite snacks to have on hand in the boat?

Lately mine have been baby bell cheeses (they are great because you can eat them without touching them with grubby hands, thanks to the wax wrapper), apple sauce in individual packages (no spoon needed, just open and eat) and protein granola bars with chocolate.

By the time I get my crap together I just have time to grab a couple of granola bars and water, also sunnies are a staple, the salt helps the body retain moisture instead of wanting to get rid of it.

So looking forward to some ideas off this thread,

Great subject BTW

A can of sardines or smoked oysters along with a cigar.  DW won't let me have any of those things anywhere near her, so the kayak is about the only place I can enjoy in peace.  Cheese in a can is good too.  I can just squirt it in my mouth.  I wish they made peanut butter that way; in a can.

Love this one. I usually don't have time or forethought to put something together so it's just a few of those green granola bars and a water bottle or a thermos of hot water. Haven't been out longer than 7 hours though, and that was just shadow cliffs. Ocean time has been about 5hrs max.

Snacks, that's a huge category for me. Are we talking convenience? Ideas for quick go to snacks? Or things we've had? For go to quick things: I'll say left overs, granola bars, trail mix, Carl's jr. $5 2 western bacon burgers and water.

Things Ive had that I like, spam musubi, jerky, sandwhich from home or subway the day before. Had this my last outing from a local store, yum.

Fish to live.

Oh no a Blind Snacks thread we're all doomed! Haha

Usually just water and a granola bar or baggie of craisins and almonds. Coffee if i haven't drrank it all by the time i launch. Definitely always stop for a ice cream sandwich on the way home because I'm exhausted and starving. Will be bringing more food in the future. Baby Bells are a good idea.
And you could hear me screaming a mile away as I was headed out for the door....
