Andy kick a$$ brother that is awesome reuse!  FYI keep an eye on your wood pile.  Wood piles can be host for termites, used to see that when I lived back east.  We used to keep the wood pile far away from the house so as to not to draw them in.

Nice work, Andy!

If it's getting too hot just above the wood bowl and stuff is drying out, you may want to mount in lower so you can put a bowl of water above it to prevent that.

I wish I had your skills.

Nice smoker! I actually have an old gas grill I was about to haul to the dump, free if anyone wants it to try and build one of these.
