I know part of it is spawn sack but this fish had pink growths on its tail and dorsal fin. Is this some sort of virus? Is it eggs the fish laid that stuck to it's tail??

my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

+1 some kind of bacterial infection,I've caught fish that has it and some don't from the same area of a lake, river
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it
