So Sorry to hear about your mom. I was just taking a peek at what's been going on back on the mainland, since I will be back on California at the end of May, and itchin' to catch some butts and nids. Nice work on the Opelu, I know I just caught my first one a couple of days ago! I put him out live and was rewarded with a 30 LB ulua just 5 minutes later! Best bait in Hawaii, if you can only catch em! Keep those lines tight! Maybe see you on the water on the Monterey bay! or up in Albion!
