I've always been curious about the shape of the P15 rear well and now I see the same design in the new models.  There is an tab on each side that divides the well and keeps it from being one large space.  It makes one larger rectangle and one smaller rectangle open between.  It's almost like they intended some sort of box to fit right behind the seat.  Anybody know what this shape is all about?

Something like this. Plano 1612 fits tight but fits mine. Got the rod holder idea from Mooch.

If you're interested, check my posts about a year or so ago where I had photos of how to chop up a crate's bottom to get it to fit around those protrusions.  It wasn't rocket science.  Anyone with a crate, hacksaw, and file would find a way.
