Anybody fishing Russian river lately for steelies

running really low, fish have lockjaw from the reports im hearing, havent been on the water since last week and it was really slow, where you thinking of fishing?, cameron

We're just chillin on the bank tossin some Cleo's but nothing so far. We're at steelhead beach

I was on the water yesterday and hook 1. She came unbuttoned after about 15 secends but was fun while it lasted

I talked with a few guides, they're also saying it's been slow. The 1st boat that came down in the morning hooked 3 and land 2. The 2nd boat hooked and landed 1 and the following boats hadn't touch anything.

Most fish are either tight agaist or under the willows and it helps to be the 1st on the water.
