Quarry Lake Volunteers do it Again

I found a pair of blue plyers with green handles in one of my boxes.

I think those belong to Mel.

It was a great day and an inspiration to see all the vets enjoying the water and all the volunteers chipping in! Thanks for the great food!

My first HOW Event and had blast.  Gil a vet from Stockton took my Revo out.  He was his with Ethan his 8 year old grandson. Don came to the rescue and offered his Hobie Sport to the youngster. RacinRob was kind enough to bring it down from the parking lot.  The pair figured how easy it is pedal a Revo almost immediately and covered the entire lake.  I will definitely do a HOW Event again!

8 yr old Ethan and first timer pedaling all over the lake like a pro.

Had a great time. spent some time OTW with some nice people (vets). One couple i worked with almost caught a fish. she lost it at the boat..  They were in a smallish tandem, which they thought wasn't that stable.. I had him try my Marauder and it was Wow this is great! How much do kayaks cost etc? I think I made a convert.
Thanks to all the people who did the hard work, like cooking and setting up.

I mailed the pliers back to Mel.  They were good ones.  I wanted to keep them.  So, I ordered some just like it.
