Thank you all for the awesome reply's and comments!!!! I worked on a new vid the other day and wanted to share it for everyone! gonna try and bang out a few more this coming week! My recent raw footage is starting to pile up on me. The weather here has been horrible, crazy winds and rains been keeping me out of the ocean but I got to get out today for a little while before the winds kicked me out and picked up a 36# wahoo.

Aloha, thank you brothers!!! I have a few pics from my recent fishing trips last month here on the big island. Weather has been a little more windy than normal, making it difficult to get out and fish but I try to get out in the morning before the wind picks up a lot more!

These pics is from my first Makahiki claimed tournament day, hooked and landed a 75 and 15 pound Yellow Fin Tuna's!

This was on my last day out on march 4th 2013, Hooked and landed these 63 and 55 pound AHI's (Yellow Fin Tuna's). Launched out about 7 in the morning and had both of them in my yak before 10, I'm really loving my new PENN setup!!! I have two PENN INTERNATIONAL 16VS reels filled with over 500 yards of 80# braid and I have them strapped on two PENN INTERNATIONAL STANDUP V-SERIES 50-100# Rods! I smoked both of these Ahi's up in under 10 minutes! If anyone one is targeting big game fish from their yaks, I would highly recomend this set up!


I have footage of all these fish and will try to edit and upload them asap.

I'm gonna be in Kauai in a month, and hope to get out on a yak and fish.
Last years  April trip there was stormed out big time!
They evacuated our hotel as we left for Oahu.
