Who wants to guess what KCRA is reporting tonight at 1100 on "Monsters of Lake Tahoe" very theatrical, "they're big and multiplying"
Can't find anything on the website though..

My first thought was macks, but they showed a glowing white light coming up from the depths! But can't figure macks are anything new, crawdads is a good guess. Seems like the crappie would have some public part to it, such as local residents enraged by removal of tasty fish!

They have been having problems with big mouth bass for a couple of years. Not exactly news but they have to make it sound mysterious. I'm hoping it is giant crawdads, though. I'll be dropping some traps up there for sure if it is.

If it's edible, it won't last very long.

Thanks Al!

hmmm, something that lives in the creek channels, doesn't look real, and had to dissect to find eggs? I had heard a crab was caught there last summer. like a 6 inch crab, I didn't believe it, but that's my new guess.

I guess I'll find out in the morning what the big surprise is & I'm sure it will be a war zone this weekend.
