Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

Did the bite turn on a little more? Did you troll back to the launch?

Yea the bite picked up about 1/2 after you left, I had a few bass boats come right in to the area I was fishing only 25 yards away, and I caught two to their none. Then they took off. I went about 1/4 mile past where you and I were fishing, and caught all of them on the clear pepper flake worm. except the last one, green worm. I got the fever, can't wait to get back out.

Depends on if/how much rain we get Tuesday. If the runoff is any warmer than 48 degrees the bass will move up into any water coming in and bite better.  I don't think we're supposed to get any significant rainfall out of this system.  I was thinking about not being lazy and driving up to Hertz, salt creek or somewhere up by constant inflow. The sac arm has better access to the mid and upper arm than the pit. And the sac arm produces pretty good too this time of year.
