Hey guys,

Do not send any registration at this point. May not get it.

You can sign-up Friday evening at the campground.

Registration on Friday will be 40 cash only, the extra 10 goes directly to HOW again, like I did last year.

Ill post on here Thursday evening once I get assigned my site.

Thanks

Ryan

Captains bags and you can spend that 10 on beer now.

You can ask the other guys on here that put on tournaments the sooner they have a list together the easier it is too plan. Throw a fish n chill and have 100 dudes show up. Not gonna be easy ill tell you that.

Regards.

See you there ANDY.  :smt006 :smt006 :smt006

OK OK, I keep getting registration request via PM and email on multiple forums.

There will be NO REGISTRATION THE MORNING OF THE EVENT

Here is the exception, if you have missed registration, it will be open the evening before the event. Someone will be around to collect registration from 2-9pm at the camp ground. Look for the CCKF banner and you will be in the right area.

Will be $40 CASH ONLY. Extra $10 goes to Hero's on the Water.

You will also receive the Slam Down sticker, as every angler will.

***IMPORTANT INFORMATION***
Cambria Slam Down II
September 21, 2013

Hello Anglers,
I am really looking forward to the upcoming CSD II tournament this next weekend! After reviewing the current numbers, I am expecting a large amount of anglers participating in the tournament. Many of the participants are newcomers to the Cambria Slam Down event. Due to this matter, I felt that it was appropriate to send out an email to let you know about the events of the weekend so that you can prepare for what’s in store.
Friday: I will be arriving at San Simeon Campgrounds on Thursday evening (site TBD). I am expecting many participants to arrive on Friday. Therefore, I will be conducting a captains meeting on Friday evening at 7:30 pm at the campgrounds. The campground is small enough that even if you are not familiar with it, there will be many anglers present throughout the area. I will spread the word once I arrive and will post to the forum what site I am at on Thursday evening so that you are aware. You will be able to pick up your Captains bag on Friday until about 9pm. During the Captain’s meeting, I will be discussing launch safety for Leffingwell as well as the catch-and-release token located INSIDE your captain’s bag.
Saturday: Launch time is at 6:30 am. Please be courteous to all other anglers. There will be over 100 anglers in our group alone and many others out there. Therefore, please do not park on the launch ramp to get your kayak/fishing gear prepared.   It is important that we keep the ramp clear for all other anglers. Once you unload your items, you will need to check in at the table located under the bridge at Leffingwell. If you did not receive your Captain’s bag the night before, you will receive it upon check-in. Please be advised, the Captain’s bag contains the catch-and-release sticker which will NEED to be used when taking pictures of fish caught for the tournament. Also please do not park in hotel parking lots, street parking only. Weigh-in will start at 12:00 pm unless otherwise stated upon check-in. All participants must be in line and on the hill by 2pm. If you arrive past this time, your fish will not count. We will start our potluck at 3pm on the top of the hill where you previously checked in your fish. Please bring something for the potluck. The awards ceremony will begin around 4pm. We will be selling raffle tickets on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for 5 for $10 or 12 for $20. These tickets will be used for various prizes. All proceeds for raffle tickets will be donated to Hero’s On the Water.
Location of launch and campground.
Campground as close as it can get.  Off the hwy 1 it is on the east. Closest address is
45 San Simeon Creek Rd. Cambria, CA 93428

The launch is about a mile from the campground and is the address below. The potluck and weight in will be located on the hill to the north…

6791 Moonstone Beach Dr. Cambria, CA 93428

If you have any questions or need further clarification, please feel free to email me or pm me on the forum. I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone out there this next weekend! Thank you for the continued support!  Please see attached image for details.

Very cool stuff Ryan.  So incredibly bummed that I'm missing this.  Went to college in SLO and it would have been a great reason to get back down there.  Unfortunately Saturday will be my wife's 2nd annual End of Summer Kiddie Party.
