Sorry guys I'll explain the loss. My friend who I used to work with is a large niner fan. He had nicked named me the, "VOICE OF DOOM"!! Because when I said something was going to go wrong it did. Just things pointed to a different outcome on those things. I called him and told him it isn't going to happen. He asked is the the VOICE OF DOOM talking. I said yes. Too many things saying no. Ray Lewis last game. the  forty-niner idiot making a controversial comment. Ravens lost Last year. The niners pooping on Alex Smith. Yes It Was The VOICE OF DOOM! I'm the voice of DOOM.   

I thought the game was canceled because the surf was up ((my bad))...and who cares...Men play HOCKEY..football is for silly crybaby's ........LETS GO SHARKS SHARKS SHARKS...

Not having time to prepare anything special (smoked salmon ball or tuna belly etc) for snacking I was promised there would be plenty of fare. I was more disappointed in their snacks (chips, tub of onion dip and some cocktail wennies) than I was in the game. Seriously ....who serves that crap anymore! I have re-named the event..The Super Bowel.

Afterthought  ....NCKA has spoiled me! Any get together whether it be simply hanging by the lake or the tournament potlucks produces more tasty imaginative treats than most people are exposed to in a lifetime. THANKS NCKA'ers !!!!!!  You Spoiled ME

That's dead on because the ol ladies always trying to drag me to these functions and I always ask , " what kind of food will they be serving"

Ahhh Pliney... Have you had some of the elder? I had a few at the brewery last year when it won the world title, people from all over the globe were there to drink beer. I traveled from Cotati.....your are correct, awesome buzz.

As far as the refs go, everyone should know that during a big game and a big situation, the best call is a no call

OK, then put that in the rule book = "officiating shall change to a new standard after 2 min warning."

otherwise, call the fouls that occur, as they occur, when they occur.  period.  IMO should be completely objective, impartial, and without reference to impact to outcome of game.
I'm not saying that Crabs should have gotten the PI call, or not.  Just sayin call the game consistently.

I watched the second half of the game again last night. If you still have the game recorded look at the play before the infamous hold on Crabtree on 4th and Goal. It is 3rd and goal from the 5 yard line. Crab catches the ball around the 3 yard line gets immediately tackled by a defender from behind and then Smith comes in with a helmet to helmet hit on a defenseless player that jars the ball out of his hands for an incomplete pass. I rewatched that play at least five times last night in slow mo. It was really obvious and the ref was standing 10ft. from the hit.

That should have been a 1st down half the distance to the goal on the 2-1/2 yard line.

The Niners played a great game but the Ravens played a better one and are Super Bowl champs.
