Hello everyone, I was wondering how the crabbing has been in bodega. I would be going tomorrow 2/1 and taking my kayak on its first fishing trip. I was just planning on dropping 2 pots and letting them soak for 3-4 hours because i'd have to be a work by noon. My main question, is there any thing i can fish for while the traps are soaking? such as pearch or something like that. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Vav,
Welcome to the boards.
Perch bite at Doran as well as an occasional sand dab and halibut.
How did you do?

Ended up getting 6 Dungeness crab. Had a fun trip in the yak. No fish to be had but plenty happy with the crab

I haven't been to bodega in my yak yet. I'm a little curios about crabbing out of a yak. How hard is it? thanks rickashay52
