My 7YO granddaughter and I look forward to camping with you folks (site 33, I think). She has been begging me to learn to fish so maybe I can twist someone's arm to help her (I don't have a license anymore).

You don't need a license to teach her how to fish.  She is free until the age of 16.  Just be sure to use only one rod and she has to be the primary handler.  If she's not close to the pole DFG might have issues.

Yea for sure I'm waiting to see if my dad's gonna go .it'll be me the wife and the little one so we'll have room for an extra tent or 2 if anyone needs  a place to pitch a tent

Misc. info
As of 5/23 melones will shift into summer hours. Everything on glory hole side will be open with the exception of the angles launch restrooms and fish cleaning station. Camp res. can be made with a minimum 2 days advance. For  late or early arrivals the entrance gates are open from 4am-11pm. Can't wait see ya there.

Sorry folks, my home life is a mess right now.  I have a few prizes for this, but I highly doubt I will be there. 
If someone in sac wants to pick up prizes and handle touring day, that would b awesome.

If I go it will be a one day trip. I can bring if I do go, but I may not be there early enough to do sign ins etc. Maybe just a team effort. Who wants to run the entry stuff?

I'm down to help in what ever needs to be done. Just let me know what you need me to do.

Sorry to hear the bad news; wished I had known before I signed on to the Islander trip, I could have helped run this event for you.

But I have no doubt that our NCKA brothers will help out...

Jim, so sorry to hear that - but no worries, we will all chip-in and get 'er done!

Roll Call: I'm in, and I will have my son Avery along as well for the tourney!

We'll be in site 29 Fri and Sat nights.

I can help coordinate a potluck if we want to do one! I will also bring a pop-up canopy. We might need some tables.
