With all the feedback on plus sized swimmers and a couple requests, I formed this.

Rider gave me some specs and hopefully this will work. I am going to let it dry overnight and hit it with sand paper tomorrow to get all the fingerprints and little lumps off it.

I should be able to make the mold tomorrow. I am planning on pouring a glass and steel saltwater rattle sideways into the tail of these.

I'm still waiting for heavy duty saltwater plastic so production won't really begin for a couple weeks. So far I have a request for rainbow trout. I plan on doing an airbrushed rock Greenling pattern (black back, red belly, red and orange spots).

Any suggestions on anything else? Shape, colors, patterns, etc.?
Thanks guys
Jesse

I would narrow the tail a bit more starting a little farther away to help the water curl to the tail

I was wondering about the same thing. One of the common issues with these is that Lings thrash them. I an going to run this one and see how the action looks. I might have to re-mold though.
Thank you for the observation and advice
Jesse

This time of year it's trout at whiskeytown, if you want to try your creations we could hit some bass spots too. Shasta is blown out and probably will be for the next month so it's whiskeytown, or maybe keswick?

I imagine Keswick will be just as stained as Shasta. Well, sounds fun. I'll see what I can do.

Well guys. Here is the 12" swimbait. Poured with ugly colors obviously. Going to post a vid of the action soon. I should be able to color them I'm a couple weeks and send them out!

Nice swimbait!
Here is a creature bait I created. I've always wanted to create a salt water creature baits for big rc.
Here are a few other ideas for molds.
