...Or trade, or borrow, or rent.

Need a set of reamers (for cork grip), but until I know this will be an ongoing thing, don't want to buy a new set.  Thought I'd check amongst the community before I set out to make my own...

Thanks guys.

Fisherman's Warehouse sells them, around ten bucks I believe.

I usually just use a scrap dowel and coarse sand paper. Just cut the sand paper into strips and glue it on the dowel in a twisting fashion.

Most people I know have the stuff laying around.

o.O  Did you even read the original post?

If I end up making my own, want something with a taper.  Got any old/broken rods I can salvage?

No what did it say? Something about trying to find something in the community before building it?

Hmm.... must of missed something.

I do but I am in Sacramento, would you like to drive here to get them?

If you read my post you would understand I was trying to illustrate that its not that hard and most of us have the stuff laying around.

Broken golf clubs work well also.

Well, looks like I will be constructing my own homemade reamers.  Got my hands on an unwanted surf rod, so I should be able to get a number of reamers from it.

Ongoing car troubles keep me from venturing any further from the house than a bike ride will allow.  Would still like to thank GB2 for offering to lend me his set.  Hats off, sir.

And also, say sorry to Ryan for being a crabby asshole when he was just trying to help.

We've learned to expect that type of behavior from you Bungle.   :smt003
