UPDATE Friday January 25: SOLD!

All,

I have waaaaay too many kayaks (over 10) and the wife unit says I need to sell one to justify the new kayak I just purchased (Dagger Nomad 8.5) and the new Gen 4 Glock 19.  Probably well over $1,000 of gear here that I wish to sell as a single package… will let it go for $750All equipment, rigging, the kayak, etc… is in excellent condition, NO sun fading, NO oil canning, NO deep scratches (barely any light scratches!), always stored indoors on it’s side.

See links to the build for pics... more pics at bottom of this thread...

Everything is currently at my house in Coloma (El Dorado Co. near Placerville), but I could also bring it to my other house in Redwood City, or potentially deliver to somewhere in between, at my convenience, for an extra $50.  If you are interested post here or send me a PM and I will get back to you quickly (but in no case more than 12 hours).

Description: Ocean Kayak Prowler 15 Angler rigged as follows;

1)   Eagle 245DS fishfinder on Scotty mount (right front cockpit) with through-the-hull transducer mount... see this link for the beautiful build quality... http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php?topic=9638

2)   Center mount rocket launcher rod holder
3)   Scotty rod holder on extension mounted left front cockpit
4)   Two rear flush mount rocket launchers (factory installed)
5)   Clip-in Plano tackle box with custom triple rocket launcher rod/gaff/net holders
6)    240 cm AQ paddle
7)    Kokotat Bahia XL high-back PFD

Note that all aftermarket mounts are fully supported on the inside of the hull using ¼-inch plastic backing plate.  More build pics here;  http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php?topic=9025.msg79667#msg79667

What a deal!

Yep, it is...

Kayak fishing is what started my life-changing whitewater kayak addiction and I would rather sell everything for a great deal, making it easy on myself and easy on hopefully someone who is looking to get into the sport with a complete quality set-up on the cheap... I suppose I could dick around, haggle, and try to squeeze a few more hundreds out of it... but that's not who I am, nor do I have time for that...

Thanks for the bump!

Correct,  no seat... I parted that out separately a few months ago... it was a Surf to Summit GTS that I sold for $125.... Most guys with Ocean Kayak brand yaks that use an aftermarket seat will have their original that they might just give away (which is what I did with mine several years ago).

Screaming deal for sure.
Make sue whoever buys it knows the sturgeon snare is no longer legal to use for sturgeon.
I know a kid in Placerville who might be interested.
I'll contact him today. That is, if it's still available.

I'm new to the site and really don't have my profile set up yet.  I went out in Half Moon Bay in an inflatable with the hook-up, and really like kayak fishing even though I didn’t catch much.  I really like to buy your package if it is still available.  I live in Daly City and running up to the gold country is a bit far.  Are you going to the crab tournament this Sunday?  Your kayak looks almost new.                  Herb

Hi Herb,

Steamer47 is looking at the kayak package on Wednesday.  If he doesn't buy it I will let you know.  I am not going to the crab fest this weekend (and, at this price, I am disinclined to transport everything for uncommitted buyers).  Potentially I could transport to Redwood City on Sunday for a committed/confirmed buyer.

It looks new because I take care of my stuff, and everything was always given a thorough rinsing with fresh water after every trip and stored in a garage (you should see my Avet reels... almost a decade old, used frequently, and look almost brand new)... I also haven't used that kayak in about two years.

Cheers, BC

Nice boat, but what I really want to know if how are you getting a Gen 4 Glock?

There is a single shot conversion exemption which a few gun stores in Sacto will perform I believe. It adds about $100 to the cost of the gun. :smt012

I miss my P15. Best paddling SOT ever IMHO.
