I've kept quiet as long as I can on this one.
Eric pm me anytime ill fish with you.

As far as the rest. I love headwaters and I consider all who are sponsored or work there as my bro's.
that being said, it does get to be a little repetitive when people ask a question and every post after is "call headwaters", but that's the nature of the beast when a good business takes care of its people. Nothing to do about it, just take it with a grain of salt and keep on keepin on.
Where did he go george

Just so it is crystal clear for everyone,
My thoughts on answering a question,
Example:
A) Question - Anybody have experiance with Bass Pro Shop reel repair?
Answer - I have used them and had @@@@@@ experiance

B) Question - Anybody have a segestion for quality reel repair?
Answer - Alan Tani has done a great job and suports NCKA

I hope this this is clear to understand.

Well then I guess someone should tell the poor sap who without any motivation other than being a satisfied customer promoted one business when another was asked about.

Talk about ridiculing someone for their opinion... sheesh

Please don't get me wrong Eric, I think you are a great guy and an asset to the community.  I just think you are dead wrong on this issue.

At least we are both starting to see eye to eye,
If you asked me about fishing the S.J. river and I led you to Pine Flat, you wouldn't be happy with me. This is a simular situation.
Now go back and read that post, and tell me that the question was answered fairly in the first page.

As for Headwaters,
I have the utmost respect for Dan and Victor and the crew, they do a great job.
I was so inpressed that I sent Dan one of my best custiomers and he was taken very good care of.

It depends.  Are there big fish at Pine Flat?  :smt003

Good! Another crisis over & no quitting.  :thumright:

How about a C-lake tourney in March? No sponsors, no prizes, no trophies. Just who places, in what order, & on a Sunday so Eric can fish & put 100% effort into it.

Hey Eric, I want to thank you for everything you've done, especially for your tournaments.
It was because of your Clear lake event that I caught my very 1st Largemouth bass...EVER. :smt007
Thanks man, I really appreciated all your efforts and hope you have a great day. :smt006

looks like everyone got the hug they needed lol.

Eric i dont know you personally but ive attended some of the events you used to put on and they will be missed by a lot, always a good time.Although If this whole thing really comes down to the HW and FW situation described then somebody should feel foolish, This whole thing sounds like it should be happening in the schoolyard. I have nothing bad to say about anyone on NCKA but its clear people have some growing up to do, and they know who they are. I know im a bit late on this post but im not trying to reheat it.

Thanks for your concern,
My thoughts go much deeper than current events, but for now, lets let this cool down.
I am sorry to put off the series this year, I know many enjoyed it and looked forward to it, but after many discussions with my wife, I feel it is best for me to step away for a while and just enjoy all that NCKA has to offer.
There is no one individual to base this decision on, except me, and I appologise to those who were looking forward to the 2013 series.
Who knows what tomorrow holds, for now, lets enjoy what we have.

See Ya Soon,
Eric / Yakhopper
