Hi all :smt006
My name is Jesse and I am from Anderson California, that's in Shasta County, about two and a half hours North of Sac.
I grew up and still live in a rural area. I love the outdoors and am an avid fisherman and hunter. I Ab dive a couple times a year.  I don't get over to the ocean nearly as much as I would like though.
I have a Mexican Tarpon (Pescador 12) and my fiance paddles the mojo angler 12. I fish much of the north state. Copko reservoir, pit lakes, baum, trinity lake, siskyou, mccloud reservoir, and cow creek are some of the places I fish. The Sacramento river,  Lake Shasta and Whiskeytown is in our "backyard" though so they see most of the action from us.
I can't wait to meet you all. This place feels like home.

Welcome to the madness.  :smt006  NCKA events is where you can pout names to faces, even though I forget most by the time the event is over! Sounds like you live in a great area, as far as outdoor activities are concerned.

Jim, Black Butte isn't bad fishing.  It just gets really hot out there in the summer time.  I've caught some nice bass and cats out there.
