Seems like a lot of pole spear to be wrestling around under water.

Hits like a ton of bricks.....and moves like one also, it feels soo slow.  Good for shooting holed up fish, not some much in open water....sassier perch and blues will laugh at you as they casually dodge it, then swim back by you again just for kicks.  Quality machine work, mine is pretty much perfect in that aspect, comfortable to grip all day due to the girth(no jokes please).  You can shorten it by not using one of teh 3' lengths, I did shorten my tip by about a foot to reduce the overall length, might have been a bit faster if I just took out a pole section.  Handling really isn't an issue if you're used to hunting with a pole spear.

I haven't seen it on craigs but if its anywhere near a bill I'd pass and get a Gat Ku.  I havent used mine yet but I used angle's once a while ago and liked it.  Lighter, faster, does flex a bit though.
..........agarcia is just an ex-kayaker

I think I've got a Puig, a Gat-Ku, a Crist, and a C/F Korf, and a few JBL's.  Of them the Korf spear is my favorite in that it's a super lightweight spear that shoots super fast, also being C/F you don't have to twist it like you would with a fiberglass deal.
