Having to spend $25 ($15 ticket, $10 parking) to look at stuff I might want to buy will keep me from attending.
Been there before.

I hear ya Mike....but I think it's cool to support the ISE. It would really suck not to have them around anymore. I still enjoy shows like this cause it promotes fishing and Hunting.....and basically the love for outdoor activities. I'm hoping to take my nephew (it will be his first time) along - hopefully, it will inspire him to love and respect the outdoors .....and get him away from the "video gaming industry"  :smt045

We used to have the ISE show here in San Mateo and it wasn't as good as it was - IMO, lack of vendors and minimal turn out.  :smt011

IMO $25=lack of turn out.
I'm all for the event. It just seems ridiculous to me to have to pay when I can go on line and see pretty much everything that will be there or stop by Cabela's or Scheels for free.
Plus having to listen to every duck hunting vendor or elk hunting vendor calling and bugling all day long really gets on my nerves.
Like I said before, I've been to a couple of shows in the past. I'm over it.

We are thinking about with going with friends on Sunday (saving on the parking $) and using the $2 coupon (if you sign-up for email alerts on their site)....but I still think it's pretty pricey. I, too, kind of cringe at the thought of paying to go window shopping  :smt012

We have been one other time before a few years back - there was a lot of "see our guided hunts" and booths that really pressured people to come check out their suff....kind of like the pushy ones you see at home shows! But there were also a good number of booths that offered some great info. I wanna to stop by DFW (formally DFG, haha) and see if they have any free fish rulers! I also want to check out the guy that does the custom ear protection for shooting. And of course, all the kayaking booths  :smt003

Maybe Saturday. $2.00 off coupon in the sport section of the Sunday Sac Bee paper. Still expensive. :smt012

I will be there on Saturday

Here is the link to save $2.00 per ticket, if you get there early you can find parking across the street for free, just don't leave any valuables on plain view.

Sonny and I are going early on Saturday if anyone else going from Vallejo and wants to hang its cool.

I will be there Thursday night. Will leave from work at 3 p.m. so will hit traffic from Oakley. Will be wearing my new squidme shirt the wife had made for my lures. Just going to see old friends from So cal in the booths they will be in. I think its important to support it. We are going to be a paperless and store less world soon enough.

Looks like I'll be there Saturday and the goal is to be there when it opens!  We'll see how realistic that is with 2 little girls in tow.
